The platform of Gorakhpur which is also known as GORAKHPUR RAILWAY STATION in Uttar Pradesh is the worlds longest station.
LENGTH: 1366 M 

2) OPERATED BY SINGLE GOVERNMENT :

Do you know, Indian railways is the largest railway network to be operated by single government and worlds third-largest railways with a total length of 127760 KM.

3) HISTORIC ELEMENTS :

The two historic railway elements are been included in the "UNESCO" 
*THE CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS
*THE INDIAN MOUNTAIN RAILWAYS
